Ingredients:
- 5 HCW pitted dates
- Water
- 1 Pinch sea salt (optional)
- 1/4 cup HCW oats
- Toppings (optional)
- Soak the dates in hot water for 20 minutes (just enough water to cover them)
- Drain the dates but retain the water in a small jug
- Blend the dates in a blender or food processor, adding the retained water little by little until you reach the consistency of jam or thick honey.
- Cook your oats as desired.
- Add your oats to the blender with your date caramel and blend until you’re left with a creamy porridge.
- Spoon into a bowl, add toppings of your choice and enjoy!
