Plant-Based Gourmet Burger

Vegan Burger
A mouth-watering burger that’s high in protein but 100% plant-based. Better for your body and the environment. Makes 2 Burgers.


  • HCW Spicy Burger Premix
  • 200ml hot Water
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 burger buns of your choice
  • 1 Tomato, sliced thinly
  • Butter for rolls
  • 2 gherkins, sliced
  • 1 handful of lettuce or spinach, shredded.
  • Olive oil


  1. Add 200ml hot water to your burger premix, mix well, cover and allow to stand for 10 mins.
  2. In the meantime, fry your diced onion in a little olive oil (until golden brown) remove from heat and set aside.
  3.  Mash your avocado in a bowl, add a little salt and pepper and set aside.
  4.  Using your hands, form 4 burger patties with your water and premix mixture.
  5. Heat a little oil in a pan, add your patties when hot and fry your patties until they are golden brown on each side.
  6. Butter your burger rolls (toast first, if desired)
  7. Add your burger patties to your rolls and top with mashed avo, fried onion, sliced tomatoes & gherkins and shredded lettuce.
  8. Add salt and pepper to taste, and enjoy!
