Chocolate Oat Milk

Ingredients:

HCW Rolled Oats, 100g
Filtered water, 900ml
Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp
Salt, 1tsp
HCW Cacao Powder, 1 heaped tbsp
HCW Agave Syrup (optional), 2 tbsp

Method:

Soak your oats in lukewarm water for 1 hour or more.
Drain and rinse your oats very thoroughly.
Add them to a blender with filtered water and all the remaining ingredients.
Blend on high until the mixture is completely blended. Allow to stand for 1 hour. Blend again until combined.
Place a fine sieve, lined with a cheesecloth, nut milk bag or muslin cloth over a bowl and pour some, but not all of the mixture into it. Allow to drain through, squeezing to ensure all the moisture is pressed through.
Remove the dry pulp, and repeat until you have worked through all of the mixture.
Decant your milk into a jug and enjoy hot or cold.
